We have been coming down to Looe for many years & always pop into The Old Boat House when on holiday down here. It is by far our favourite cafe in Looe & has been for many years (we have been to every cafe in Looe). They have a great selection of meals in their fantastic menu, it’s always great food. They also have an excellent cake selection as well & the added option of their own ice cream for dessert as well, which is delicious (we sampled a few flavours earlier in the week). What we also love about The Old Boat House is their location, being located at the harbour side in East Looe with the added advantage of an alcohol licence we can literally sit back, take in the views whilst enjoying a glass of wine together taking in the views, we love it, nowhere compares. Today, after many years of visiting the cafe on holiday we actually met the owners, what a lovely family. It is a real family affair, parents & their daughters, all so friendly & hard working, customer service always on point. If you haven’t been to Looe yet? What are you waiting for? and make sure you pop into The Old Boathouse because you will not be disappointed. 5 stars from us as always! M & A from North London

Popped in for a spot of lunch. Didn't really expect much (wasn't sure if it would be a tourist trap) but to our surprise we had a really good lunch. Their pasties were very good. The kids had paninis which they enjoyed. Great service, recommend!

The Old Boat House is exactly as it was with a modern old world twist to it's past. Although we only had drinks, sitting by the window on the comfy settee gave us an ideal position to watch a world, inside & out, go about their business. It's ideally positioned next to the estuary and we will be back.

Always stop here for a coffee/latte or tea. Best coffee in Looe & the staff are so friendly & kind. It’s not an easy industry to be in, they work so hard. I hope this one stays for a good while, not easy to find a lovely coffee place either a great view of the river. Please stop here. Thank you.

Have been here before. Very friendly cosy coffee shop. Nice and warm inside on a chilly day. I can HIGHLY recommend their cream tea (I had 2 fruit scones) with tea. There is a nice choice on the menu.

Excellent - what a lovely little restaurant and what stunning views - all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable - all on one level with outside eating area - a single toilet that was spotless - well worth a visit and I can thoroughly recommend the cornish pasties - please be careful of the herring gulls ***** well recommended
